Honoring the Life of Ms. Tiffany Elise Staelin
WHEREAS, Ms. Tiffany Elise Staelin will be forever remembered by this
community as a kind and giving woman who enjoyed an active life with her family
and friends; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Tiffany Elise Staelin was a loving daughter,
granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and fiancé who
devoted her life to her family and their welfare; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Tiffany Elise Staelin was a passionate naturalist and an
expert in wilderness expeditions, having taught and led groups of teenagers
throughout the Rockies and Pacific Northwest, including Alaska; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Tiffany Elise Staelin was a dedicated environmental
consultant in Boston, primarily serving the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
on matters related to the Clean Water Act and Clean Air Act and most recently,
she taught high school science in Philadelphia; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Tiffany Elise Staelin was a special person who touched
the lives of those she knew.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Jack Ford, Mayor of the City of Toledo, do hereby
honor and remember the life of
Ms. Tiffany Elise Staelin
and do urge all citizens to join me in honoring this remarkable woman.
Her presence will be greatly missed but her spirit will live on forever.
On behalf of the City of Toledo, I extend our deepest sympathies to her family
and friends for their loss.
